MUSIC SCENE HEATS UP AT TECH, RADFORD

Jazz saxophonist and "Tonight Show" band leader Branford Marsalis, veteran funkster George Clinton and the alternative rock band Offspring all will perform concerts in the coming weeks at Virginia Tech and Radford University.

Marsalis will perform with Buckshot LeFonque on Feb. 27 in the Preston Auditorium at Radford University. Reserved seat tickets are $3 for students, $10 for non-students. They go on sale Feb. 14 at the school's Heth Information Office.

The same night, Feb. 27, George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars will perform in the Commonwealth Ballroom at Virginia Tech's Squires Student Center. General admission tickets are $8 for students, $16 for non-students. They go on sale Feb. 13 at the Squires Ticket Office.

Offspring will perform with No Use For A Name and Quick Sand on March 6 at Radford University's Dedmon Center. General admission tickets are $10 for students, $13.50 for non-students. They go on sale this morning at the Heth Information Office.
