MAN ROBS CONVENIENCE STORE

A man brandishing a handgun and wearing a ski mask robbed the Riverside Quickette in west Roanoke County about 10:30 Monday night, county police said.

No one was injured.

Police said a clerk was alone in the store at 5956 W. Main St. The robber took an undetermined amount of cash, a carton of cigarettes and a couple of cigarette lighters. He fled on foot.

Police have not made an arrest.
