UNITY OF ROANOKE VALLEY will begin a new format for its Sunday morning services in March. The 9 a.m. worship will have a focus of contemplation with music to encourage quiet reflection. At 11 a.m., the celebration focus will be more joyful with greetings of worshipers and more spirited music. The worship center is at 3300 Green Ridge Road.
LISA FOUTZ has joined the staff of Villa Heights Baptist Church as its outreach secretary. A member of the congregation, she succeeds Nell Nienke who held the position for seven years.
A DISASTER REBUILDING TEAM, sponsored by Lutheran Cooperative Ministry of the Roanoke Valley, will go to Albany, Ga., March 19-26 to continue rebuilding after last summer's floods in the area. Volunteers will work as part of the national Lutheran Disaster Relief agency, which provides sleeping space and two meals daily. Call 774-2905 to offer skills or money.
