MIXED DRINK PROMOTER WORKED AS BARTENDER

If voters in Craig County had legalized liquor by the drink, Briz's Restaurant would have had one of its bartenders already on hand.

Garnett Benevides, a Paint Bank native, worked as a bartender in Fall River, Mass., her late husband's home, and "can mix anything you want." She now works part-time at Briz's, cooking and sometimes tending the beer and wine bar.
