SPAY-NEUTER CLINIC FEB. 28 IN SALEM

Salem will hold a "Spay/Neuter Day" on Feb. 28 as part of a nationwide campaign to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats.

Although the program is offering free spaying and neuters, donations are being asked to cover the costs, said Terri Atkins, a promoter.
