NARROWS HOLDS OFF ROCKY GAP

Narrows watched most of a 19-point lead disappear in the fourth quarter before beating Roacky Gap 79-64 on Thursday in a Mountain Empire District boys' game.

Bryan Pruett scored 22 points and Patrick Bailey added 21 for Narrows (10-6, 4-2). The Green Wave led 21-11 after one period, then pushed its advantage to 39-28 behind Pruett's 10 second-quarter points.
