FREE BUS RIDES TO CIVIC CENTER

Shuttle buses to the Roanoke Civic Center will be in operation Saturday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, from 2:15 p.m. for Roanoke Express spectators.

Buses will make round trips from the Williamson Road Parking Garage (at Williamson and Franklin Roads) and will run from the civic center immediately after the events.

The shuttle service and garage parking are free. There is free offstreet parking avaiable around the civic center complex. Parking is not permitted in the area's private lots, including the post office. Cars will be towed.

Shuttles will also be available Feb. 17 from 6:30 p.m. for attendees of the Roanoke Express hockey game and the "Guy and Dolls" performance, and Feb. 18 from 6:30 p.m. for hockey fans.
