RV INDUSTRY IS ON A ROLL

The recreation vehicle industry was on a roll in 1994, posting the best sales year since 1978. It was the third year of growth, which has resulted in a 50 percent increase in wholesale shipments, according to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association in Reston.

Big gainers were at both ends of the market, folding camping trailers and fifth-wheel travel trailers.
