Dibrell Brothers Inc., Danville processor and seller of leaf tobacco and distributor of fresh flowers, reported net income of $3.3 million, or 25 cents per share, on sales of $306.3 million for its second quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with year-earlier $2.2 million, or 17 cents per share, on sales of $266.2 million. For the first six months, net income was $2.1 million, or 15 cents per share, on sales of $486.1 million, compared with year-earlier $6.5 million, or 49 cents per share, on sales of $439.9 million.
Mod-U-Kraf
Mod-U-Kraf Homes Inc., Rocky Mount manufacturer of modular homes, apartments and commercial buildings, reported 1994 net income of $308,204, or 38 cents per share, on sales of $9.3 million, compared with year-earlier $537,301, or 66 cents per share, on sales of $7.9 million. For the fourth quarter, net income was $107,623, or 13 cents per share, on sales of $3 million, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $4,424, equal to 1 cent per share, on sales of $2.2 million.
Westwood One
Westwood One Inc., New York producer and distributor of radio programming used by 16 radio stations in the Lynchburg, New River Valley and Roanoke markets, reported a 1994 net loss of $5.3 million, equal to 11 cents per share, on revenues of $136.3 million, compared with year-earlier net loss of $26.3 million, equal to $1.70 per share, on revenues of $84.9 million. For the fourth quarter, net income was $845,000, or 2 cents per share, on revenues of $7.6 million, compared with year-earlier net loss of $4.9 million, equal to 29 cents per share, on revenues of $22.2 million.
