Matthew Chulis, a midfielder from Central Islip, was New York's top player this season and a member of the U.S. under-18 national team.
Ben Olsen, a midfielder from Middletown, Pa., was a two-time National Soccer Coaches' Association of America/Umbro High School All-American and a member of the U.S. under-18 national team. He scored 24 goals and had 12 assists as a junior.
Brock Yetso, a 6-foot-2 goalkeeper from Columbia, Md., was an Umbro All-American and a member of the under-18 national team and led his team to three state titles, going 18-0 in his senior season.
Scott Vermillion, a defender from Olathe, Kan., was his state's player of the year in 1994 and an Umbro All-American. He had 26 goals and eight assists during his senior season.

Radford University opened the baseball season with a 7-5 victory over South Florida in Tampa, Fla. The Bulls (1-3) and Highlanders play again today at 3 p.m.
New River Valley Speedway will have five sanctioned Legend Car races during the 1995 season.
Promoter Ronnie Snoddy said the NASCAR-sanctioned track has been placed in the Tri-State and Quad-State regions of the Legend Car competition. This will allow drivers who race at NRVS to earn points in both regions.
The first Legend Car race at the .416-mile oval is April 15, the first scheduled race in both regions.
Legend Cars, small replicas of the late 1930 Modifieds, are powered by five-speed motorcycle engines. During practice sessions at NRVS, some drivers have posted speeds in excess of 75 mph.
Rules for the Enduro Car division have been completed and are available by calling the speedway. Also, season grandstand and infield passes can be obtained at the track.
