MCENTIRE COMING BACK TO ROANOKE

Reba McEntire returns to the Roanoke Civic Center on March 24 for an 8 p.m. concert. Special guests include Tracy Byrd and Rhett Akins. Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at the civic center box office and all TicketMaster outlets.

The Roanoke Civic Center will not honor customer lists. The civic center will open at midnight on Friday night for those who wish to "camp out" for tickets. Patrons will be allowed to enter the building at midnight and must remain through the time that tickets go on sale. Patrons will be assigned a number on a first-come, first-numbered basis and will be lined up in numerical order as they arrive.

Tickets are $26, and there is an eight-ticket limit within the first 10 rows. The civic center accepts cash, personal check (in-state with I.D.) and MasterCard and Visa. TicketMaster outlets only accept cash.

Note that because of a Roanoke Express hockey game and the ``Guys and Dolls'' show, the parking lot will be full until about 11:30 on Friday night.
