KRIVAK JOINS UVA STAFF

One day after interviewing for a coaching vacancy at Duke, former Maryland head football coach Joe Krivak elected to join old friend George Welsh at Virginia.

"I felt it was a win-win situation," said Krivak, who coached quarterbacks and receivers on Welsh's staff at Navy from 1977-1981. "I felt I had to make a decision because teams are meeting and starting to prepare for spring ball."
