CHARLOTTESVILLE - Wendy Palmer, playing four days after having all four wisdom teeth extracted, had 24 points, 10 rebounds and five steals to power the Cavaliers past the Seminoles in the ACC.
The Cavaliers (21-3, 14-0) had a 44-27 rebounding advantage, forced 26 turnovers and held Florida State to 35-percent shooting.
Illness and injuries left the Seminoles (8-19, 3-12) with only seven players in uniform, and Liberty Taylor fouled out with 4 minutes, 28 seconds remaining.
Palmer, who hadn't practiced since her surgery Tuesday, had eight points as the Cavaliers opened the game by scoring 12 of the first 14 points.
Virginia stretched it to 33-14 with 2:32 left in the first half on a basket by Palmer, who at that juncture had 18 points. It was the fifth consecutive basket by Palmer, who was the only Cavalier to score in the final 10:23 of the half.

RADFORD - Junior center Dede Logemann scored a career-high 22 points as the Highlanders defeated the Chanticleers in a Big South Conference game. It was Radford's third win in the past four games.
Radford (11-12, 9-4) shot 55 percent (33 of 59), including 18 of 30 (60 percent) in the first half in building a 44-34 halftime lead. The loss snapped a three-game winning steak for Coastal Carolina (9-13, 5-8).
The Highlanders outrebounded Coastal Carolina 39-34 and put away the game with solid free-throw shooting, hitting 18 of 21 for the game and 13 of 15 in the second half.
Lisa Howard scored 12 points and had six assists for Radford, and Jenny Good and Sara Larsen had 11 each.
Tameka Tender led the Chanticleers with 18 points and eight rebounds. Samantha Cerny added 14 points.
