RADFORD CLIPS COASTAL

Kevin Robinson and Antoine Dalton led four players in double figures as Radford defeated Coastal Carolina 63-61 in a Big South Conference game Saturday night.

Radford (15-9 overall, 9-5 Big South) led 61-49 with 4 minutes, 10 seconds left in the game before the Chanticleers (6-18, 3-11) went on a 10-0 run, with five points coming from freshman point guard Greg Smith, to cut the deficit to two with 1:04 remaining.

Phillip Richards missed a 3-pointer with seven seconds to play and Radford's Chibi Johnson grabbed the rebound. Johnson sank two free throws and Coastal Carolina's Maurice Ingram hit a layup at the buzzer.

Robinson and Dalton had 14 points each. Anthony Walker scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Jason Lansdown added 11 points for Radford.

Richards led the Chanticleers with a season-high 17 points.
