STAPLES CAN'T WAIT TO GET ANOTHER SHOT AT CAROLINA

Virginia freshman Curtis Staples doesn't wany anybody thinking he's kept his seat on the North Carolina basketball bandwagon just because he once was a Tar Heels fan.

"If I want to beat anybody in the ACC, it's Carolina," said Staples, a 6-foot-3 guard from Roanoke. "That's the one program that everybody talks about."
