GLENVAR BOMBS ROCKETS

Jason Darnall scored seven of his 11 points in the first quarter Monday as Glenvar rolled out to a 23-10 lead and never looked back in an 85-42 Pioneer District boys' basketball victory over visiting Craig County.

Corey Willis and James Williams added 10 points each for the Highlanders (13-7, 9-3), who outrebounded Craig County 46-20. Williams had 10 rebounds and Willis grabbed five.

Craig County (3-17, 1-11), which will play Glenvar again in the first round of tonight's district tournament, was led by Jamie Fisher, who scored a game-high 17 points.
