DUBLIN - Entries are being sought for the 1995 New River Valley Training Excellence Awards, sponsored by the New River Community College Center for Training and Development.
Awards will be given in manufacturing, retail and service categories.
Organizations can make only one entry for a training program held during 1994. The entry deadline is March 17.

Careers presentation
BLACKSBURG - Careers in public administration is the subject of a presentation today at the Donaldson-Brown Continuing Education Center.
Sponsored by the Southwest Virginia Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration, the meeting will feature Laura Bullock from the Virginia Department of Transportation, John Chambliss from Roanoke County and Stephen Duncan of VPM Corporation.
