Hufton, a junior guard from William Byrd High School, averaged 13.5 points per game for the Maroons and led the league in 3-point percentage during the regular season. Her 44.3 percent ranked seventh in the nation.
Wilson, a senior center, averaged 16.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for the Maroons, the league's regular-season champion. Roanoke earned the No.1 seed for the ODAC Tournament and will face No.8 Lynchburg at 1:30 p.m. today at the Salem Civic Center.
Laura Haynes of Guilford was named the league's top player and freshman. Haynes, a forward from Cary, N.C., leads the league in scoring (20.7) and field-goal percentage (52.4). She's second in rebounding, averaging 10.1 per game.
Completing the first team were Randolph-Macon junior Jenn Kohler and Lynchburg sophomore Kelly Fackler, a graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School.
Guilford's Barb Bausch was voted coach of the year after guiding the Quakers to a 19-5 record and third-place finish in the conference. Bausch had only two players back from last season's 15-11 squad and had 10 freshmen and three sophomores on the roster.
The second team consisted of Emory & Henry's Jackie Greene of Galax, Guilford's Bari Nixon, Virginia Wesleyan's Amy Beisch, Eastern Mennonite's Keri Bontrager and Randolph-Macon's Katy Parrish. (Complete team in Scoreboard. B2)
