OAK HILL JV RIPS INDIANS

Cedric Woods scored 26 points and the Oak Hill Academy junior-varsity team routed Covington Boys' Home 91-44 in a non-district boys' basketball game Wednesday night.

The Warriors took a 34-4 first-quarter lead and forced 19 turnovers by Covington in the first half to coast to the easy victory.

Karife Byrd scored 16 points for Oak Hill (9-2). Ignacio Eslava had 13 points and Chevy Bynum added 11.

Kenny Prescott scored 14 points for Covington Boys' Home (6-15).
