LAUREL PARK CLAIMS TITLE IN PIEDMONT

Laurel Park rallied from a five-point halftime deficit to knock off top-seeded Martinsville 77-64 on Saturday night in the championship game of the Piedmont District boys' tournament at Bassett High School.

The Lancers, seeded second, fell behind 33-28 as they gave up numerous transition baskets in the first two quarters.
