GARY GREINER, ETS FOUNDER, DIES

Gary Greiner, the founder of what it now ETS International, died Sunday after a long illness.

Greiner, 56, a Roanoke County resident, was president of Environmental Testing Services Inc. in the mid-1970s, before it was sold to a New Jersey company. He and the other founders bought the company back in 1979. He became vice president of the new company in 1980, and president in 1981.

Now called ETS International, the Municipal Road company develops products and provides services for pollution control.

Greiner wrote several technical publications and textbooks about air pollution control. He also was a former member of the Roanoke Catholic School Board.
