MEETING TO DISCUSS BRIDGE

The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold an informal meeting Monday, March 6, at 7 p.m. at Elliston-Lafayette Elementary School to discuss plans to replace the northbound U.S. 11 bridge over the railroad tracks near Lafayette.

The new bridge will create permanent changes in traffic patterns on U.S. 11. Construction could start this fall.
