KIMBALL LISKEY, owner of Liskey Real Estate Appraisal Services in Blacksburg, has earned the Senior Residential Appraiser professional membership designation and has been admitted to membership in the Appraisal Institute.
SRA members must have substantial experience in the valuation of single family and residential income properties before gaining membership in this organization of professional real estate appraisers.
Liskey is a Virginia Tech graduate and a Virginia Certified Residential Appraiser. He entered into the real estate business in 1983 and has been appraising in the New River Valley since 1989.
The Hill Insurance Agency of Radford and Floyd recently welcomed DARIN BRITT to its staff as a life and financial services specialist. He is a licensed registered representative with the National Association of Securities Dealers.
Britt is a graduate of Floyd County High School and James Madison University.
LARRY LINKOUS, an auctioneer from Blacksburg, was crowned the 1995 Virginia State Champion Auctioneer at the Virginia Auctioneers Association's annual convention in Williamsburg. The association represents 550 licensed auctioneers in Virginia.
CHARLES WATSON is the new marketing director of Biological Monitoring Inc. of Blacksburg. Watson's duties will include expanding the company's ties in the national and international environmental community and coordinating follow-up programs for current projects. He has worked since 1991 as sales director for the Virginia division of Free-Col Laboratories in Roanoke.
Draper Aden Associates named SCOTT KROLL environmental program manager at the firm's Blacksburg office. Before joining the firm, Kroll served as the manager of environmental engineering for the Norfolk Southern Corporation in Roanoke.
Dr. F. MICHAEL BARRY, a specialist in internal medicine and geriatrics at Radford Community Hospital, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the professional organization of internists. Barry, who earned a medical degree from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans and completed a residency at Charity Hospital, also in New Orleans, has been on the active staff of Radford Community Hospital since October 1980.
