MEETING TO ADDRESS MONTGOMERY BRIDGE

The Virginia Department of Transportation plans to replace a bridge on U.S. 11 over Norfolk Southern tracks near Lafayette in Montgomery County and will hold an informational meeting for nearby residents and others Monday night at the Elliston-Lafayette Elementary School.

Representatives of the department will discuss plans for the bridge work and changes in traffic patterns that it will cause. Construction on the bridge will begin in the fall.
