RADFORD- Sculptors who create works of art that can also serve as public seating have a chance for their work to be bought and displayed at Radford University.

University Galleries' annual sculpture purchase competition is looking for artwork that will provide seating in an outdoor courtyard, though other works will be considered.

Ten artists will be selected and will receive honoraria.

The application deadline is Sept. 1. The art will be displayed from March to November 1996.
