OLYMPICS TICKETS

On your mark, get set ... Tickets for the 1996 Olympic Games go on sale May 1. Tickets will be available by mail order through year's end (phone sales begin in '96) - more than 11 million of them, with most costing $75 or less.

(The price range for most tickets is $6 to $250, although those to opening and closing ceremonies run as high as $600.)

Tickets for the most popular events will be distributed by random computer selection from orders postmarked within the first 60 days of sale. Brochures with order forms and complete schedules will be available May 1 at retail outlets to be announced this month. Information: (404) 744-1996.
