CARLISLE ROLLS INTO VIS FINAL

Carlisle outscored Tidewater 14-6 in the third quarter to pull away for a 66-51 victory in a VIS Division II Tournament semifinal Friday.

The Chiefs (26-2) were led by Joseph McClinton's 20 points and will play Huguenot Academy in today's 3:15 p.m. championship game.

Tidewater finished at 20-9.
