HOMES SALES DOWN BY 3.77% FOR JAN.

Pending home sales dropped slightly in the state during the month of January, according to the home sales survey of the Virginia Association of Realtors.

January figures indicated that 3,824 new and existing homes were placed under contract compared to the prior January's figure of 3,974, a decline of 3.77 percent over the year.
