RADFORD WOMEN WIN

Jenny Goode scored agame-high 18 points to lead four players in double fugures as Radford defeated Liberty 68-60 in a Big South Conference game.

Goode made eight of 11 shots from the floor as the Highlanders (12-14, 10-6 Big South) shot 50 percent. Dede Logemann added 12 points for Radford. Katie Lamport and Sara Larsen had 11 and 10, respectively.

Liberty (7-19,5-11) was led by Angie McDaniel, who scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. The Flames outrebounded the Highlanders 52-36, but shot only 26.8 percent from the floor.

Radford will meet Coastal Carolina in the first round of the Big South tournament at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dedmon Center.
