DAUGHTERS AT WORK

The third annual ``Take Our Daughters to Work Day,'' a national public-education campaign to promote girls' self esteem, will be held April 27.

Last year, 25 million adults participated in the event. Any girl between 9 and 15 is eligible. This year, girls otherwise unable to participate are being paired with mentors and workplaces.

The event is sponsored by the Ms. Foundation for Women, a national, public women's fund that supports the efforts of women and girls to govern their own lives and influence the world around them.
