ROANOKE REGIONAL ECONOMIC INDICATORS

Roanoke Valley home sales fell slightly in February, compared with a year earlier. The Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors said 317 houses were sold last month, off 4.8 percent from February 1994. The report showed an increase of 26.8 percent from 250 houses sold in January.

The association said 115 contracts on houses closed last month. Real estate agents added 379 listings to bring the total housing inventory to 1,751 homes. The average home was on the market 89 days.
