NationsBank took up residence on the Internet on Tuesday, offering a wide range of Olympics-based information as the exclusive bank sponsor of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta and of the United States Olympic Teams.

The bank's initial Internet offerings include information about Olympic events and Hometown Hopefuls, which gives highlights of programs that support aspiring Olympic athletes across the country. Other information on the bank's home page includes a profile of the company and a copy of a speech given by NationsBank Chairman and CEO Hugh McColl at Blueprint 2000, a recent conference in Washington, D.C., on community investment programs.
