MAN DIES IN FRANKLIN CRASH

A Boones Mill man died in an early-morning accident Saturday when the car he was driving overturned and he was thrown from it.

Blake Lamonte Tyree, 23, was pronounced dead at Franklin Memorial Hospital about an hour after the 3 a.m. crash. A passenger also was in the car, but a state police dispatcher had no information on that person.

The accident took place on Virginia 641. State police said Tyree lost control of his car and drove off the road.
