5 NEW TO UW BOARD

Five new members have been elected to the United Way of Montgomery and Radford board of directors for 1995-97:

Ron Downs, director of Radford University's Dedmon Center. He has served on the United Way's campaign team, and led RU's state employees campaign for the past two years.

Lori Engebritson, Montgomery Regional Hospital manager of human resources. She is a Lincoln, Neb., United Way veteran and 1994 campaign coordinator for the hospital.

Dan Hamrick, Christiansburg attorney who served was legal counsel for the 1994 United Way campaign.

Bob Martin, retired Corning engineer and member of United Way's fund distribution panel for the past three years.

Cam McLaughlin, owner and president of MEDIAS, a United Way Day of Caring and campaign team volunteer for the past two years.

Officers for 1995 are Deborah Brown, Radford University, president; Bonnie Svrcek, Town of Blacksburg, president-elect; Jo Lynn Price, First National Bank, vice president; Mary Lou Epperly, Radford University, treasurer; Jim Cole, Virginia Tech Foundation, immediate past president.

Returning board members include Tony Asselin, Julein M. Axelson, Brenda Branscome, Taylor Cole, Jim Corrin, Kim Fitzgerald, Bill Fry, Cindy Johnson Hale, Dixon Hanna, Paul Harris, Carol Herdman, Butch Irvine, Jay Johnson, David Moore, Barbara Pendergrass, Gina Rhea, Larry Schoff, Ann Spencer, T.O. Williams III and John Yearick. United Way of Montgomery County and Radford raises and distributes money to 35 agencies.
