Because inaccurate information was given to the newspaper, Linda Ross of Narrows was incorrectly identified on the Region C volleyball team in Wednesday's Sports section.

Because of a reporter's error, the wrong Roanoke Express player was credited with scoring a goal in Tuesday night's game. Mike Krygier scored Roanoke's last goal in a 7-3 victory over Raleigh.

Clarification

A definition of ``Erin go bragh'' in a story in Wednesday's Extra section captured the spirit but not the letter of the Irish phrase. It means ``Ireland forever.''
