BETH ANN FELLOWS BRYANT of Roanoke recently was named to the 1995 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."

Bryant is a senior human relations major and Bible minor at Milligan College in Tennessee.

GARY LEE DAVIS JR., son of Linda and Gary Davis Sr. of Roanoke, recently received a bachelor of science degree from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Ky.

D. SCOTT BOWERS, son of Andy and Judy Greer of Salem, has been named to the dean's list at Milligan College in Tennessee. Bowers is a junior computer science major.

EMORY & HENRY COLLEGE has named several Roanoke Valley students to its dean's list for the 1994 fall semester. They are: Heather Ammermann, daughter of E. Gifford and Eleanor Ammermann of Roanoke; Tim Ward, son of Roger B. Ward of Roanoke and Sandra Connolly of Cloverdale; Stephanie Cash, daughter of Steven and Angela Cash of Troutville; and Robyn Mundy, daughter of Jack and Sue Mundy of Daleville.

SHARON FOLAS LAMBERT of Roanoke has received a master of arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE has named the following Roanoke-area students to the dean's list for the first semester of the 1994-95 academic year.

Students from Roanoke are: Cadet Brandon R. Cornett, son of Ms. Joyce Cornett and Jim Cornett; Cadet Andrew M. Osborn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale M. Osborn; and Cadet Mark Q. Emick Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Q. Emick Sr.

Cadet Robert T. Prince, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Prince Jr. of Blue Ridge, was also named to the list.

ROANOKE PUBLIC SCHOOLS has announced the names of the first 10 participants in its Future Teachers Program. The participants, who are enrolled in the teacher preparation program at Roanoke College, are employees of the school system and must commit to teach a year for each year of assistance.

The participants and their current schools are: Linda Bently-Childress, Oakland Elementary; Sharon Hicks, Woodrow Wilson Middle; Sharon Hodges, Fallon Park Elementary; Angela Layman, Preston Park Elementary; Barbara Lee, Fishburn Park Elementary; Lois Lee, Grandin Court Elementary; Robin Marlles, Stonewall Jackson Middle; Paula Morgans, Woodrow Wilson; Janice Williams, Garden City Elementary; and Debra Wright, Roanoke Academy for Mathematics and Science.

LACEY ELIZABETH EIBERT, daughter of Eulanda and Carlton D. Eibert of Roanoke, was recently published in Pensworth, a journal of student writing sponsored by Cumberland College's Delta Upsilon chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English Honor Society.
