Pilot Homes receives honor

CHRISTIANSBURG - Clayton Homes, the nation's fourth largest producer of manufactured homes, recently honored Pilot Homes of Christiansburg as its top retailer for 1994.

The company purchased $4 million in Clayton manufactured homes last year.

Clayton Homes serves over 700 retailers in 27 states.

PULASKI - Christian Business & Professional Women - After 5 of the New River Valley will meet Tuesday, March 28, in the Appalachian Building, 6:30 -8:30 p.m.

Guest speakers are Becky Powell of Shelby, N.C. and Gerald Fain, certified financial planner. The musical guest is Lori Yates of Radford.

Depression identification

CHRISTIANSBURG - The Mental Health Association of the New River Valley plans a training program beginning in April to teach employers how to identify and respond to employees who are clinically depressed.

Volunteer mental health professionals will visit local businesses and organizations to conduct one-hour "Downtime" presentations.
