POTOMAC WINS GROUP AAA TITLE

Tinail Harris scored 26 points, and made all eight of his free-throw attempts Saturday, as Potomac beat Kecoughtan 62-53 in the Virginia High School League Group AAA state championship game.

The Panthers were 20 of 33 from the free-throw line, including 11-of-20 in the second half. Kecoughtan hit seven of its 10 free-throw attempts for the game.

Mike Neal had 10 points and nine rebounds for Potomac.
