BLACKSBURG - Mike Gentry, strength and conditioning coach for Virginia Tech sports teams, will be featured speaker at the weekly Blacksburg Sports Club lunch Wednesday, March 22.
Gentry will speak on the role and organization of the strength and conditioning program and its current and future facilities.

BLACKSBURG - The Cranwell International Center is looking for familes and friends to provide a taste of American lifestyles for international students.
Hosts are needed to invite international students to normal activities, such as outings, sports events, community activities, or cook-outs.

Herbs for Spring health is seminar topic
CHRISTIANSBURG - The Plant Plant will hold a seminar on herbs for Spring health Saturday, March 25.
The class will deal with the harvest and use of Spring tonics, and will include a tour of the display gardens, focusing on common medicinal garden weeds.
The 11 a.m. seminar will be conducted by Katherine Moonflower, a wise woman, herbalist and creator of herbal tinctures.
