Moles was cited for her interpersonal skills, management and human resource development. She was also required to show evidence of community involvement and leadership.
In the fall, Moles will represent Virginia at a gathering at the White House and will be recognized by President Clinton.
She helped establish a mentoring program for school administrative interns through Virginia Tech and helped with programs for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Moles said she considers her most significant accomplishment being principal of Oak Grove Elementary, a school that has won national awards.
Another county educator, Jean Holbrook, supervisor for business education, recently was named outstanding vocational educator for Virginia for 1993-94.
Holbrook has worked for county schools for 29 years. She has been supervisor of business education and home economics since 1980.
In recognizing her, the Virginia Vocational Association said she has been an invaluable asset to education throughout the state. In addition to that organization, she has been active in the Virginia Business Education Association and the American Vocational Association.
