HAMS RECALLED AFTER GLASS FOUND IN CANS

F.D.L. Foods is recalling about 8,600 canned hams because some may contain glass, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said Tuesday.

The company decided on the recall after consumers in Iowa and Wisconsin reported finding pieces of glass in cans of ``Dubuque Royal Buffet Ham, Water Added.''

The company is recalling all product cans with the code ``2234D'' or ``2234N'' on the label.

A small number of the canned hams were distributed in Virginia and West Virginia.
