MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES

"Women's Mental Health Issues," a conference sponsored by the Mental Health Association of Roanoke Valley, will be held April 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Jefferson Center, 541 Luck Ave., S.W., Roanoke.

Dr. Sylvia G. Simpson will present the keynote address, "Diagnosing and Treating Depression in Women." Simpson is associate professor of psychiatry at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and director of the school's Affective Disorders Consultation Clinic.
