The 1995 MS WALK, to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, will be held in Roanoke and Lynchburg on April 1, beginning at 10 a.m. Registration is from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
Pledges are required to participate; there is no minimum amount. Individuals and teams may enter. Prizes will be awarded for pledges of $100 or more, and participants are eligible for prize drawings.
A one-to-two mile ``Family Walk'' is available. The complete walk route is 10 miles.

Nusic festival
The Lynchburg Community Market and WKDE Radio are seeking musical groups to participate in this year's Country Music Festival, to be held May 20-21.
The competition is open to groups of two or more and includes bluegrass and folk. Groups will be judged on talent, showmanship, crowd appeal, musicianship and professionalism. Cash prizes will be awarded.
