LACEY ELIZABETH EIBERT, daughter of Eulanda and Carlton D. Eibert of Roanoke, was recently published in Pensworth, a journal of student writing sponsored by Cumberland College's Delta Upsilon chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English Honor Society.

ANITA ELIZABETH SEAGLE and MAGGIE HERCHENRIDER, both of Roanoke, have been named Highlander Scholars at Radford University. Highlander Scholars must meet grade point average and class requirements.

Seagle, daughter of Denise I. Seagle, is a junior criminal justice major.

Herchenrider, daughter of Robert and Diane Herchenrider, is a sophomore dance major.

TARA HATCHER of Roanoke has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky. Hatcher is a pre-occupational therapy major.

RADFORD UNIVERSITY graduated the following Roanoke-area students at the end of the fall semester.

Also, Rebecca Ann Dotson of Vinton. received a master of fine arts degree, and John E. Gardner of Roanoke received a master of arts degree.

MICHELE MONSOUR, daughter of Robert and Sandy Monsour of Thaxton, recently graduated from Lee's McRae College in North Carolina with a degree in Criminal Justice. Monsour is a 1990 graduate of Northside High School.

ELON COLLEGE in North Carolina recently announced the names of Roanoke-area students on its fall semester dean's and president's lists.

Those on the president's list are: Erin Thyme Jamieson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Jamieson of Roanoke; and Kimberly Kristin Stewart, daughter of Betty Stewart and Joseph Stewart of Roanoke.
