FULCHER, Theora Gibson, 89, of 208 Kings Mountain Road, Collinsville, and formerly of Ferrum, died at home Tuesday, March 21, 1995. Born December 3, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Peter L. and Prudence Prillaman Gibson. She had been a member of Knob Primitive Ba ptist Church for over sixty-five years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Grant Fulcher, a daughter, Martha Anita Fulcher, a granddaughter, Sabrena Dawn Divers, five brothers, Walter, Isaac, Joseph, Bunyan, and Harry Gibson, seven sisters, Nora G. Prillaman, Rosa B. Gibson, Minnie G. Hollandsworth, Irabelle G. Barnes, Virgie G. Stone, Annie G. Stone and Gladys G. Carter, one daughter-in-law, Lois T. Fulcher. Surviving are two daughters and two sons-in-law, Mae and Thomas Brammer, Collinsville, Alice and Doug Divers, Figsboro; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ennis Fulcher, Greenbackville, James and Jean Fulcher, Ypsilanti, Mich., and Reggie and Janet Fulcher, Collinsville; one sister-in-law, Louise S. Gibson, Roanoke; also surviving are 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Knob Primitive Baptist Church, Henry, with interment in the Republican Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Elders Clarence Stone, Leonard Brammer, and Lane Carter will officiate. The family will be at the Collins Funeral Service Chapel on Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the home of her daughter, Mae F. Born in Madison Heights, she was the daughter of the late Teddy and Edna Ballowe Hicks. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was active in the Elon Community. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Wallace Hicks and T.W. Hicks Jr., and two sisters, Constance Evelyn Rous and Lucille Hicks Tabor. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Jackie Mann and husband, Tex, Sue Miller, both of Lynchburg, Mary Ellen Gross and husband, Gary of Roanoke; one sister, Hazel Hicks Campbell of Lynchburg; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. NEAL, Oscar Hare, 83, of 4956 Pomeroy Road, N.W., Roanoke, and formerly of Bluefield, died Wednesday, March, 22, 1995, in a Roanoke hospital. Born in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Lee and Dora Bell Darnall Neal, and was a member and Deacon of the West Salem Baptist Church in Salem and a former member and Deacon of the Calvary Baptist Church of Bluefield. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II, and was a former employee of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, W.Va., and Memorial Funeral Home in Princeton, and a former coal miner. He retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad Company as a brakeman, and was a member of the United Transportation Union. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Neal and Roy Neal. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Bass Neal, Roanoke; sister, Ruby Neal, Bluefield, W.Va.; sister-in-law, Helen Neal, Bluefield, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 24, 1995, from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Slaughter and the Rev. James Davidson officiating.
