Recycling containers

BLACKSBURG - The cardboard recycling containers behind the Blacksburg branch library will be moved to the University Mall Thursday, March 30.

The move comes in preparation for reconstruction at the library.

As before, people using the recycling service must remove packaging material and flatten boxes before placing them in the bins. Only corrugated cardboard - with fluted material inside - is suitable at this site. Don't bring paperboard, wax-coated or plastic-coated boxes.

Other recycling locations include Gables Shopping Center, Food Lion Plaza on North Main Street and the Public Works Facility in the industrial park on South Main Street.
