BLACKSBURG GIRLS IMPROVE SLOWLY, STEADILY

For the Blacksburg girls' track and field team the goal is simple: steady improvement throughout the course of the season with the team peaking in time for the district championships.

But with limited numbers (13 girls) and a formidable foe (Christiansburg), everything will have to fall perfectly into place if the Indians are to fulfill their expectations. Leading the Indians will be Sarah Hendricks and Shelly Stevens.
