Because of a copy editor's error, the winners of the 26th annual Knights of Columbus basketball tournament cheerleading competition were not mentioned in a March 23 Neighbors story. The Vinton Hornets, coached by Anne McGuire, won the Little League cheerleading competition. Second place went to the Eagle Rock Eagles coached by Brenda Bartee. In the Midget/Pee Wee League competition, the Mount Pleasant Suns, coached by Robin Wilson, took first place. The Vinton Hokies, coached by Belinda West and Debbie Holdren were given a spirit award.
