APPLAUSE

The WomenWork project of New River Habitat for Humanity raised more than $300 recently building and selling birdhouses at Wal-Mart in Christiansburg. Reed Lumber Co. of Christiansburg donated the materials to build the 100 birdhousews.

The event was designed to raise awareness and funds for the WomenWork project, which will create a house built by women in the New River Valley.
