RADFORD ROTARY CLUB IS HOST TO VISITORS FROM PHILIPPINES

A contingent of business representatives and Rotary Club members from the Philippines will visit the New River Valley Monday through April 8 as guests of the Radford Rotary Club. The visit is part of a Rotary International-sponsored group-study exchange, designed to let visitors have a look at life and business in other countries.

The Philippine group includes an attorney, two engineers, a forester and an educator. During their visit, they plan to visit area Rotary Clubs and to meet with people holding similar jobs in this area.

Included in their visit will be lunches aboard the Pioneer Maid on Claytor Lake and at the Farmhouse, plus trips to Volvo-GM in Dublin, and the campuses of both Virginia Tech and Radford University. They'll also get to shop at the New River Valley Mall.
